Conferences

The first trimester of school is quickly coming to a close. Report cards will be going home on Monday, November 23rd. I will be holding parent/teacher conferences on the evenings of November 23rd and 24th, as well as the morning of November 25th. This year conferences are all being scheduled online. Please go to the link below to pick a day and time that works best for you. If you have a difficulties scheduling online, just contact me or Heidi G. and we will schedule a time for you.

I'm looking forward to meeting with each of you and sharing all the great things your children have accomplished this marking period. I strongly believe teaching is a team effort between school and home. I value this opportunity to meet and discuss your child!

Halloween Assembly

Our class has worked extremely hard over the past few weeks preparing an assembly to present to the school with our buddies. The purpose of assemblies are to bringing our school community together and for students to have the experience of presenting in front of an audience.

This Friday, the kids did a great job running the assembly. They introduced the greeting, second graders shared Halloween safety tips and 5th/6th graders told about the history of Halloween. Each class then recited a poem. Our class worked hard to learn Halloween by Marie A. Lawson. Then, together with our buddies, we lead a Halloween carol sing-a-long.
