Today we began a unit on coding. The students will develop the ability to create digital animated stories on an iPad or computer. We will be exploring the sequential nature of computer programs through hands-on
activities, both with and without a computer. Then the kids will apply the skills and knowledge learned
from the activities to design and program a simple
digital animated story that interacts with the reader.
Here are some photographs from today's introductory activity. The kids were using simple commands to guide a dog named Rosie to her bones and then to her doghouse.
