Communication

Throughout the year communication between home and school is very important. If you ever have any questions about what is happening here at school don’t hesitate to contact me.  It can sometimes be difficult to convey all that I need to tell you in writing, I always love talking to you in person. The following are some of the ways I will be keeping in touch with you this year:

1.   Newsletters- Each letter will include highlights from the past weeks, a brief explanation of what we have been studying in each subject area, and any other important information.  These letters will go home periodically throughout the year.

2.   Home Folders- These will go home with your child everyday. They will contain homework and corrected work from the week.  Please use the folder to send back each night’s homework and any notes you may have for me during the week.

3.   Phone- Feel free to call me here at school before 7:50am or after 3:00pm.

4.   E-Mail- This is a great way to get in touch with me.  I try to check this throughout the day, but may not be able to respond to you until the end of the day.

5. My Blog-Here I will post highlights from our week, so you can have a glimpse into your child's day. This is a great place to see photos of your child hard at work and play! http://ginasclassroom.blogspot.com/
