Tooth Tutor

Tammy Valadakis, the Tooth Tutor, came to visit or class today. She talked to us about taking care of our teeth by brushing, flossing and not eating/drinking too many sweets.

The kids practiced flossing using egg cartons, play dough and pipe cleaners.

Who says we can't go skiing?

Nothing was going to keep these guys from hitting the slopes!

Play Practice

Our play is really coming along.  The kids are working together to learn the songs and individual lines for our production of Ei-Ei-Oops!  The kids will be performing on February 10th, once in the afternoon for the school and then in the evening for parents. Check out some pictures from today's practice...

Alaska!

Our class is very excited to begin a new adventure studying Alaska. Today Amelia's uncle visited our classroom. He is a helicopter pilot in Alsaka and shared with the class some of his amazing photos. We were able to see the huge mountains and glaciers that are a part of this beautiful state. It was great to see some of the animals we have been learning about. Also, many of his photos showed some of the earth changing natural processes we have been studying in science, such as glaciers, landslides and erosion. What a beautiful and awe inspiring state! Thank you, Uncle Dave!
